From Eddie Vedder to Aimee Mann to Joanna Newsom, Portlandia has often featured a stellar cast of musicians masquerading as special guests. But now the IFC comedy might be taking things to a whole new level of evil, as co-creator Carrie Brownstein tweeted out an image of her and Fred Armisen decked out as goths with none other than Glenn Danzig.
Yes, we are reading into this and assuming Danzig will soon guest star in an upcoming episode.
Brownstein captioned her tweet, which you can see below, with some real talk: “Summer Goths. With Danzig. Dreams (nightmares?) do come true. #Portlandia”
And heads explode across the land.

Back in 2009, Brownstein and Armisen filmed a short video for Paper magazine in which the duo hung out outside Danzig’s California home. Watch that clip below, and give a second glance to Danzig’s upcoming Blackest of the Black tour dates, which fill the October calendar and comes to Worcester’s Palladium on October 17, as part of the Rock & Shock festival.
