Next Stop, New York: Here’s how to play the Berklee + Vanyaland CMJ party this fall

The city of New York is generally regarded as the greatest sequel of all time. But our return to Carroll Place this fall should be just as nice, as Vanyaland once again teams up with Berklee College of Music for another CMJ Music Marathon Showcase at the Greenwich Village music hall.

Last year’s party — the first in the Boston & Beyond series and Berklee’s eighth-annual CMJ event overall — was a blast, and in case you couldn’t join us in NYC, we hope you caught our broadcast of live performances by Amy & the Engine, Smoke Season, Tumbleweed Company, and others all night long on VanyaRadio.

This year, the party returns to Carroll Place on Friday, October 16, and we want you or your band to be a part of the 2015 lineup.

Eligible bands for this process must have at least one member who is a Berklee alum — this is a Berklee party, after all — and are asked to enter for consideration via the Vanyaland upload form below. All genres of music are welcome.

The Vanyaland upload form and link below breaks down all the necessary info, and all submissions will be considered by a panel.

The deadline to submit is noon on Tuesday, September 8. Carroll Place is located at 157 Bleecker Street (between Thompson and Sullivan streets); and our party is open to the public.
