Punks Across America: Boston’s Trophy Lungs announce September tour of the Midwest

Last month we premiered “Bathroom Graffiti,” the lead single off Trophy Lungs’ new LP Day Jobs. Now the Boston punk trio will be spreading the ink across restrooms around the midwest, today announcing a 14-date tour that kicks off in Brooklyn on September 18 and wraps with a homecoming gig October 1 at O’Brien’s Pub in Allston.

“Hey Midwest,” the band writes on Facebook, “let’s make some bad decisions together.”

Before Trophy Lungs get in the van, they’ll be christening Day Jobs with a record release party September 13 at Allston’s Great Scott, a Ryan The Terrible show with The New Warden, Timeshares, and Choke Up. Details on that gig here; check Trophy Lungs full run of dates below, as well as the latest track off Day Jobs, “Books And Statues,” via the Antique Records Soundcloud.
