Janet Jackson’s new record Unbreakable is shaping up to something lovely.
A few weeks ago we were treated to sleek midnight jam “No Sleeep”, and this morning we’re getting the seductive and playful title track, just in time for Labor Day holiday weekend. Where was this joint during all our summer patio parties?
Jackson once again channels her classic ’90s r&b sound on “Unbreakable,” setting the stage for the new LP’s October 2 release via Jackson’s own Rhythm Nation label. By that point, she’ll be into a massive global tour that hits North America and Japan before the end of the year; the Unbreakable World Tour then picks up in mid-January for 27 additional North American dates, including a February 26 arena show at the TD Garden in Boston.
