Lower Dens and Hop Along to play free show Wednesday at Converse’s Lovejoy Wharf

Baltimore’s Lower Dens are working on a 2015 hat trick. So far this year they’ve released on of our favorite albums (February’s Escape From Evil), one of our favorite singles (the incredible “To Die in L.A.”), and one of our favorite covers (a pretty awesome rendition of Hall & Oates’ “Maneater”).

Now they’ll be playing one of our favorite places in all of Boston: a free Converse Rubber Tracks show tomorrow — yes tomorrow, as in Wednesday, September 9 — at the company’s outdoor Lovejoy Wharf space. Philadelphia’s Hop Along is also on the bill, and it starts at 5 p.m., just in time to watch the traffic commute snarling across the nearby Zakim Bridge.

No RSVP is necessary. Just roll up.

This is the second free outdoor show Converse has put on at their newly-minted location. A few weeks ago they kicked off the sunlit series with Caveman and Eternals.

Details on tomorrow’s show are below:
