Finally, Muse have announced plans to come to North America.
The rock trio today unveiled four initial dates for their upcoming Drones run here in the States, a four-show trek that starts December 13 in Portland, Oregon, and wraps five days later at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. Phantogram are opening.
Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come, and we get additional December dates around the holidays or a great way to kickstart 2016. More dates are expected to be announced soon. In the meantime, here’s some fine print:
‘The Drones World Tour’ will see band perform for the first time “in the round” from the middle of the arena. The band are known for pushing boundaries in terms of their stage production and the Drones World Tour will be no exception. This stage design and configuration will give fans a true 360 degree audio/visual sensory experience. Muse’s tours have been described by the international press as “epic”, “amazing” “ambitious” and this time will be no exception. The band has just completed a spectacular Summer European Festival run which saw some of the best reviews of their career.
Fan club pre-sale begins Wednesday, with general on sale September 25.
