At our Halloween party this past Friday, someone rolled up dressed as Maddie Ziegler, the little kid from Sia’s “Chandelier” video. It was kinda weird but also pretty cool.
With now less than 12 months to go before our next costume party, it’s time to get start working on 2016’s hot look: Black-and-blonde wig martial arts kid.
That’s the star of Sia’s latest video standout, for new single “Alive.” The video was directed by Sia and Daniel Askill, and the emotional track is off the Australian singer and songwriter’s upcoming LP This Is Acting, which we’re already tabbing as one of the best releases of next year. It drops January 29, and you can work out your best black belt moves for the next several months so you can own the room once again.
