Watch ‘A Very Bonnaroo Thanksgiving’ with Alabama Shakes, Hozier, Courtney Barnett, and more

The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is celebrating Thanksgiving, and a pretty impressive roster of band and musicians are coming over for dinner.

The annual Tennessee music fest, which celebrates its 15th year this summer, this morning released “A Very Bonnaroo Thanksgiving”, an hour-long video hosted by comedian Jo Firestone and featuring previous ‘Roo live performances by Alabama Shakes, Hozier, Courtney Barnett, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Twenty One Pilots, Belle & Sebastian, Earth Wind & Fire, Tears for Fears, D’Angelo and the Vanguard, and a Mumford & Sons jam-out with My Morning Jacket, Dawes, Ed Helms Danny Clinch, and others.

Firestone gathers friends and family around the fireplace in a cozy setting without a single football game in sight. There are even a few commercial parody spots, and a Muppet-like character we think is called Gribbles. The video will only be viewable until November 30, which is fine, because by then all that bloody tryptophan will have put our asses to sleep.

For those who watch the whole thing, there’s even a secret message towards the end: Bonnaroo 2016 pre-sale tickets go on sale this Black Friday, November 27, at noon eastern time via bonnaroo.com.

Next year’s Bonnaroo runs from June 9 to June 12. Last year’s headliners included Billy Joel, Deadmau5, Kendrick Lamar, Florence and the Machine, and Slayer.
