Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, the Weeknd lead 2016 Grammy nominations

Yeah sure, the Boston Music Awards arrive on Wednesday, but it’s almost Grammy season as well. This morning, in advance of the 58th Annual Grammy Awards set for February 15 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the nominees have been revealed via special announcement on CBS This Morning.

Four big categories — Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Record Of The Year, and Best New Artist — were unveiled on the talk show by Alicia Keys, with the rest to follow later this morning. UPDATE: Here they are.

Here’s a look at the field so far. We’ll see if Beck and Kanye gets special invites after last year’s shenanigans.
