Love Like Thud: Killing Joke cancel North American tour over ‘some health issues’

Less than a year after frontman Jaz Coleman cancelled his North American spoken word tour over visa issues (including an appearance at the Middle East), well-aged British rock Killing Joke have now cancelled their upcoming U.S. tour.

And that includes a February 19 show at the Paradise Rock Club, in what would have been an excellent show with the Soft Moon, Ego Likeness, and Heroes/XMortis DJ Chris Ewen.

The band posted a message about the cancellation to their Facebook, which blames “some health issues” for the no-go. They do not elaborate.

“Dear Gatherers and friends,” they write. “It is with great sadness and regret that due to some health issues for one of the band we will not be able to embark on our 2016 U.S. Tour. This has come as a shock to us all, please give us the time to work this out and we hope to return to touring as soon as possible. The Soft Moon are continuing with many of the scheduled dates so please check local listings and the band’s website for further information.”

The ‘Dise show looks to be cancelled outright. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Killing Joke released their most recent album, Pylon, in October. Listen to single “I Am The Virus” below, as well as some other classic Killing Joke tracks…
