There were many reports and a lot of rumors last year about the return of the Last Shadow Puppets, the British supergroup featuring Miles Kane and Arctic Monkeys’ frontman Alex Turner (not to mention production work from James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco).
Now that we’re a bit into ’16 — and with the Shadow Puppets being included in this year’s Coachella Music & Arts Festival lineup — new music is officially here: Listen to the band’s triumphant return on “Bad Habits”.
The rowdy single, complete with video, is the first bit of new music off the Last Shadow Puppets’ sophomore record, due later this year. It’ll be the long-awaited follow-up to 2008’s The Age Of Understatement, and could arrive as early as this spring.
No word on whether Kane, Turner, and Ford will play more than just Coachella and the usual festival gigs.
