Doug Tuttle was among the handful of bands and artists we spotlighted in our Winter Preview, and for good reason: His upcoming sophomore solo record for Trouble in Mind, It Calls On Me, is one of the most anticipated New England releases of 2016.
Now the New Hampshire native and former MMOSS frontman has released the LP’s title track, a bouncy bit of psych-pop that you can hear below via Soundcloud.
It Calls On Me is due out February 19, and you can pre-order it here. Less than a fortnight after it drops, Tuttle is back in the area for a homecoming show February 27 at the Lilypad in Cambridge. The show is part of a 12-date tour that takes him to Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, and elsewhere. Check the full run of dates below.
