U Should GoGo: Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes announces ‘intimate’ North American solo tour

Gaz Coombes is coming back to the United States, and he’s got a new shine on acclaimed solo record Matador.

The former Supergrass frontman’s sophomore solo album was nominated for the 2015 Mercury Music Prize, and it’s getting the limited colored vinyl deluxe edition and CD re-release treatment for Stateside fans, out March 18 on Hot Fruit Recordings/Kobalt Label Services. With that news, Coombes will embark on his first-ever solo tour North American solo tour, a nine-date run that includes a March 26 performance at Berklee’s David Friend Recital Hall.

Other stops on the tour, billed as Coombes in an “intimate setting” include two shows in New York and a set at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Full dates are below, as well as selections from Matador via the slider.
