Listen to Robb Flynn of Machine Head eviscerate Phil Anselmo over racist comments and actions

Robb Flynn has had enough of Phil Anselmo’s racist behavior. And now the Machine Head frontman has taken to YouTube to completely, and calmly, eviscerate the former Pantera frontman.

But first, some backstory: Anselmo was part of last weekend’s Monster Energy Ride For Dime Dimebash 2016, a tribute concert for late Pantera guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott. The Los Angeles party featured a top-shelf, all-star cast of performers, including members of Foo Fighters, Slayer, Black Label Society, Hatebreed, and others, as well as the surviving members of Pantera.

That includes Anselmo, who ended the show with a “sieg heil” Nazi salute and a primal scream of “white power!” Accusations of being a racist have dogged Anselmo since Pantera first broke out in the early ’90s.

When video of Anselmo’s most recent antics surfaced online, he said he was only joking, and that the “white power” line was an inside joke among participants over the white wine being consumed backstage.

Today, in a video recorded on his laptop in a hotel room somewhere, Flynn absolutely torches Anselmo’s excuses, saying no white wine was served at Lucky Strike Live and that Anselmo even made racist comments about Machine Head’s nu-metal late-’90s past backstage during the event.

“I was there and I could tell you there wasn’t a chardonnay or a pinot grigio in sight backstage,” Flynn says. “In fact, the only thing that you were drinking, Phil Anselmo, was Becks German beer. Maybe that’s where the joke came from?”

Watch Flynn destroy Anselmo, and ask the metal community why this shit is tolerated, in the video below.

It’s well worth the 11 minutes.
