For Love And Miki: Watch Lush play London last night for their first live show in 20 years

Guns N’ Roses and LCD Soundsystem have gotten a lot of the headlines for their respective reunions, anchored to appearances at this weekend’s Coachella Music & Arts Festival in California. But revered British shoegazers Lush, who have not played live in nearly 20 years, are also making a return via the festival stage, and like GnR and LCD, took to an intimate club show setting to shake off some of the rust.

Lush’s “warm-up” came last night at Oslo Hackney in London, and there are fan-filmed video clips of standout tracks like “Desire Lines”, “Hypocrite”, and “For Love” making their way around this internet this morning. Watch them below.

Lush’s new EP, Bind Spot, is out on Friday, and also included in the band’s set was recent single “Out Of Control”. In addition to the new EP, and Coachella appearance, this weekend also brings the release of a new career-spanning box set titled Origami, which drops on Record Store Day (April 16). Later this fall, Lush embark on a North American tour that brings them to Royale in Boston on September 15.
