The Man New: Travis’ eighth studio album ‘Everything At Once’ to get U.S. release

Back in January, Scottish pop-rock group Travis announced their eighth studio album, Everything At Once. We assumed the United Kingdom was guaranteed to get some release love from Fran Healy and company, but now it seems fans here stateside will enjoy the glow as well — Everything At Once sees the light of day on this side of the Atlantic digitally on April 29 and lands in stores (CD, LP, deluxe CD+DVD) via Caroline Records from May 27.

The deluxe version includes a short film directed by Healy titled Everything At Once The Film.

The album is the follow-up to 2013’s Where We Stand, and find the lads sounding refreshed. The vibrant title track single, the folky, true-to-Travis “Magnificent Time”, and uplifting acoustic pop ballad “3 Miles High” all further the band’s classic sound into a modern arena. And Healy says the band have perfected the art of the three-minute pop song. “[The tracks] don’t overstay their welcome,” he says in a presser. “We have learnt to be frugal with our writing. You can say everything you want to say. You don’t need four minutes to do it.”

Listen to all three below, and check out the album artwork after the jump.
