Last Shadow Puppets enhance North American tour, add sorely needed Boston date

We may have been imagining things, but it feels like there have been a series of Last Shadow Puppets tour announcements, including at least two in the United States, and none have included a stop in Boston. Until now.

The celebrated collaboration project between Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys and the universally underrated retro-pop craftsman Miles Kane will finally get to Boston this summer, crashing town for a July 31 date at the House of Blues. Tickets go on sale Saturday at noon.

The lads have been busy on this side of the Atlantic in recent months promoting sophomore album Everything You’ve Come To Expect, which dropped April 1 via Domino. The band played Coachella last month, and in addition to the Boston date, this newly announced stateside leg includes shows in Cleveland, Detroit, and New York as well as an appearance at San Francisco’s Outside Lands Festival.

Check out all the new dates, and a few of the Puppets recent singles, including lead single “Bad Habits”, below.

July 24 Cleveland, OH – Agora Theater
July 26 Detroit, MI – The Fillmore
July 31 Boston, MA – House of Blues
