Editor’s Note: Spring be damned; the weather around Boston has had all the feelings of autumn lately, and we’re not quite sure the warm season will ever truly arrive this year. While that’s not necessarily a good thing, it did make last night’s Chelsea Wolfe and A Dead Forest Index show at Royale feel right at home. Wolfe’s modern gothic folk was a perfect fit for A Dead Forest Index’s experimental guitar rock, and the two cast a cold spell of dramatic proportions over the Theatre District crowd. Their joint tour continues tonight at Fete Music Hall in Providence, and you can get a look at last night’s action via the photo gallery below from Vanyaland’s Eddy Leiva.
