Cherry Slips: Watch Shirley Manson fall off the stage and recover like a fucking boss

Garbage frontwoman extraordinaire Shirley Manson slipped and fell off the stage this past weekend at the KROQ Weenie Roast in Los Angeles. And much to the surprise of no one, she shook that shit off like the bad-ass that she is and hardly missed a beat.

The accidental fall — inspiring such quips as “As Heaven Is Slide” and “Only Happy When It Sprains” — came during the band’s performance of 1998 single “Special”. In the fan-filmed video below, Manson takes a tumble toward the front row and media pit, but rights herself instantly and continues the song in the face of adoring fans.

No doubt Manson will be a bit more sure-footed come July 28, when Garbage play the House of Blues in Boston as part of their summer tour supporting new record Strange Little Birds (due June 10 on the band’s own label, STUNVOLUME).

Holy fuck she fell off stage!! #garbage #weenieroast #kroqweenieroast #shirleymansion
