Late last month, Sia announced her “Nostalgic For The Present” fall tour, and ironically enough, it made us long for the future. But there was no Boston date mentioned — just two very mysterious TBAs next to October 18 and October 25.
The tour announcement was made before Memorial Day weekend’s Boston Calling, of which Sia headlined the opening night, so it made sense that a Massachusetts date would be likely revealed after her performance at City Hall. And now that is confirmed: Sia and all her video friends come to TD Garden on Tuesday, October 18. Tickets go on sale Friday.
Of course, the Australian singer will be hard-pressed to top her Boston Calling performance, which may be one of the festival’s five or six best-ever sets, and remained a visual and audial highlight long after the stage has come down at Government Center.
