What We Know: Watch Two Door Cinema Club debut new song ‘Gameshow’ live in Cambridge

New York music festival Governors Ball came and went this past weekend, and part of the residual effect for nearby cities in the Northeast was that a handful of bands played smaller club shows. Two Door Cinema Club was one of those bands, and dropped by the Sinclair in Cambridge on Saturday to not only remind us just how bright 2012 album Beacon still shines (not to mention the bevy of his from 2010 debut Tourist History), but to also debut a brand new song called “Gameshow”.

As the NME notes, the track was not played at any of the Irish rock band’s hometown gigs earlier this year, so it appears that local audiences took in a certain treat. Two Door Cinema Club have been teasing a new single and video via their Twitter in recent weeks, so we may be getting a proper recording of “Gameshow” sometime this summer. Up next for the band are a few more stateside gigs, including festival appearances at Bonnaroo this weekend, and Firefly later in the month.

In the meantime, enjoy fan-filmed video of “Gameshow” live at the Sinclair.
