Made In America 2016: Rihanna and Coldplay to headline Philly-based festival

Philadelphia-based Budweiser Made in America Festival has announced its headliners for the 2016 edition.

Rihanna and Coldplay will be joined by ColleGrove (featuring 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne), Jamie xx, Chance The Rapper, Martin Garrix, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Grimes, and more for the fifth edition of the event held over Labor Day weekend on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Jay-Z-curated event will feature three stages this year, respectively dubbed Rocky, Liberty, and Tidal, with performances on all three of them set to be streamed via TIDAL, the much-maligned, subscription-based music and video streaming service that launched in 2014.

The Budweiser Made in America Festival takes place September 3 and 4.

TIDAL members can purchase tickets beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m. by logging into their accounts. Tickets for the general public can be purchased on Monday, June 27 at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. According to an event press release, the concert will benefit United Ways in Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and Berks County, PA, with the primary goal of the music festival to have a positive impact on the communities involved.
