Reloaded: Crystal Castles announce world tour, play Cambridge in October

The reloaded Crystal Castles are preparing a full-on sonic assault for the second half of 2016. On the heels of dropping an official video for new industria-rave single “Concrete” (a track that first leaked last week on a Korean website), the Toronto electro duo today unveiled plans for a 47-date world tour.

It kicks off September 6 in North Carolina and wraps December 15 in Luxembourg. In the middle-ish area, and towards then end of the North American run, is an October 9 date at the Sinclair in Cambridge.

The Harvard Square rock club should be thrashing.

This new version of Crystal Castles features mainstay Ethan Kath and new vocalist Edith Frances, who has replaced Alice Glass. The duo’s new album is reportedly titled Amnesty (I), and it’s possibly out next month. Whenever it arrives, will be Crystal Castles’ first new album since 2012’s iii.

Get into “Concrete” and feast your eyes on Crystal Castles full run of dates.
