Last month, we celebrated the news that influential Scottish indie band Teenage Fanclub would return from a six-year absence and release Here, their 10th studio album overall, on September 9 via Merge.
Today, we deliver news that we’ll be celebrating this new record with the band in person, as Teenage Fanclub this morning announced an 11-date North American tour in October. It kicks off October 12 in Toronto, and wraps 13 days later in Detroit. In the first half of their run is an October 17 show at the Sinclair in Cambridge.
The tour only goes as far west as Minneapolis, so perhaps a second leg and/or additional dates will be added soon.
