Editor’s Note: Sometime back in the long-lost early-’80s, The Go-Go’s acquired the beat — and have never lost it since. Last night at the House of Blues in Boston (August 8), the pioneering Los Angeles pop group brought their “Farewell Tour” to the House of Blues, bringing the heat of the beach to Lansdowne Street with the help of fellow Californians Best Coast and teenage sensation Kaya Stewart.
