This Sunday: Closing out summer with the latest Pool Series event at the Verb Hotel

This weekend is a big one. The college students arrive on Thursday, and Labor Day arrives on Monday. In between, on Sunday, September 4, we raise a glass to Summer 2k16 and all its mischievous glory with our latest Pool Series event at the Verb Hotel.

And like many things this summer — like Stranger Things mania, massive tours by Guns N’ Roses and the Go-Go’s, and Dennis Eckersley’s perfect hair — we crash the pool with a nod to the 1980s.

DJ Ryan Brown hits the decks to provide the neon soundtrack, and we’ll all be living in electric dreams and eclectic seams come high noon on the cool-kids side of Boylston Street.

This end-of-summer celebration is the latest collaborative effort from the sterling team at Boston Magazine, Hojoko, Troublemaker Red Blend, and LaCroix Sparkling Water. And like previous shindigs, this latest poolside powwow runs until 4 p.m., and space is extremely limited, so RSVP at the link below and start flashing out that bathing suit.

Note: RSVP does not guarantee entry due to capacity restrictions, but not RSVPing will guarantee you definitely won’t come hang with us. And there’s no reason to miss this one: The Red Sox are on the road in Oakland, so there will be plenty of free street parking all around the Verb and the Fenway ‘hood.
