Listen to Slaves add some rock and roll thunder to ‘The Hills’ by The Weeknd

Never mind the Zika virus. Cover song fever has struck Vanyaland.

Earlier today we posted a clip of Luna rebooting a Motorhead classic, and in that post we referenced Hockey Dad’s recent take on Hole’s “Malibu”. The masked hits, they keep on coming, as now we’ve done a swan dive into Slaves‘ thunderous rendition of The Weeknd’s 2015 mega-jam, “The Hills.”

In the video via the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, the crossover R&B track — which pretty much dominated our Year in ReView coverage — gets a ruthless injection of guitar energy from the British duo. And bonus points to drummer/vocalist Isaac Holman for changing that one certain lyric to “I just ate two biscuits before I saw you.”

Prepare to love it or hate it below.
