Turns out the full-on Spice Girls reunion won’t be happening anytime soon, but that’s ok, because Melanie Chisholm — who we all know as Mel C. or Melanie C or Sporty Spice — might have a new career in comedy.
The “Wannabe” laugh slinger gave an interview to the Guardian recently, and in it, she discussed the failed Spice Girl reunion efforts, addressed the new supergroup GEM formed featuring eager Spice Girls Melanie Brown (Scary), Geri Halliwell (Ginger), and Emma Bunton (Baby), and told a corny Adele joke.
That last bit is now free for everyone to use at their next Halloween party. Especially if there’s some sad lad sobbing in the corner dressed as David Beckham.
Via MTV News, the “goofy” Adele joke goes something like this:
“Why did Adele cross the road?
To say, ‘Hello from the other side.'”
