Halloween 2016: Five shows in Providence this weekend to get on that rock and roll scare

Over the next few days in Providence, the city's music venues will be having a few tricks in store along with a handful of treats. With Halloween happening this Monday, there will be a series of parties happening throughout the Creative Capital to ring in All Hallow's Eve. There will be a variety of things to experience including local bands performing as their rock and roll heroes, festivals taking place at different locations and extravaganzas where costumes are the recommended choice of attire. Candy will be at the bar and drinks will be slung, perhaps a rejoicing of the season will be taking place as well. To get you in the mood, here are five Halloween-themed shows that'll be taking place in Providence over the next few days.

October 31: Halloween Edition of Foundation Mondays at the Parlour

If you’re looking for your reggae fix to be satisfied, the Parlour is where you’ll want to be on Halloween. Foundation Mondays is a weekly free event featuring the Natural Element Band on stage and Upsetta International’s Pauly Danger on the 1’s and 2’s. This special edition will also have surf rock reggae act Mr. Kowalsky joining in on the fray. With prime vibes and a lot of dancing, it’s guaranteed to be a good time at the venue on North Main Street. Don’t be surprised if you end up making a few new friends.
