Nashville Reign: P.K. Subban scores on Halloween with impressive tribute to Prince

A few years ago, Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban busted out a Thriller-era Michael Jackson costume for Halloween, and everyone went nuts. This past weekend, the National Hockey League all-star was at it again, this time paying tribute to the late, great Prince with a staggeringly on-point salute to Purple Rain. Of course, we do see a bit of Chappelle’s Show-themed Prince in there as well.

“Favourite holiday of the year,” Subban tweeted out yesterday.

We certainly know why. Unfortunately for us (or fortunately, depending on how you view these things), the former Montreal Canadiens standout was traded to Nashville in the offseason, so that means we here in Boston will be facing off with Subban far less than we’re currently used to. The older brother of Bruins goalie Malcolm makes his only Boston appearance on March 28, when the Predators play the Bruins at TD Garden.
