The Joy Formidable announce Leave No Trace ‘semi-acoustic’ tour, play Once Ballroom in March

The Joy Formidable remain one of the best and liveliest guitar rock bands on the planet, delivering a torrent of noisy sound and beautiful fury to every venue in which they perform. But next year, the Welsh trio are stripping things back a bit for a seven-date “semi-acoustic” tour that hits ONCE Ballroom in Somerville on March 2.

Tickets go on sale Friday at noon.

Writes the Joy Form: “Want to see us for an intimate, campfire-esque semi-acoustic set? The venues are small, the night will be very special and we’d love to see you.”

The Joy Formidable played the Paradise Rock Club in Boston back in April, a few weeks after releasing their latest album, Hitch.
