New David Bowie EP ‘No Plan’ released for what would have been his 70th birthday

The late David Bowie would have turned 70 on Sunday (January 8), and no doubt as a present to us, a new EP of some of his final recordings are now available. The EP is titled No Plan, and it includes Blackstar’s “Lazarus” plus three songs recorded during the Blackstar sessions and featured on the Lazarus musical production’s soundtrack.

A video directed by Tom Hingston accompanies the title track, and the clip, where song lyrics appear across storefront televisions while a crowd gathers, is available for viewing below. The other two songs on the No Plan EP are “Killing a Little Time” and “When I Met You.”

Tonight in Boston, a Bowie tribute night with the Daily Pravda at the Regent Theatre in Arlington has been postponed due to the snowstorm, while the “HEROES” dance party with DJ Chris Ewen at Machine is still on. Tomorrow, there are two ways to celebrate Bowie around town: Niki Luparelli’s piano bar cabaret at the Club Café’s Napoleon Room, and a Bowie bar night at the Model in Allston.
