Head Carry On: The Pixies announce North American tour, including three Boston shows

A whole lotta Pixies are coming to town.

The legendary Massachusetts rock band this morning announced a 21-date spring tour, and included in the trek is an appearance at Shaky Knees in Atlanta and three shows here in Boston. The local gigs are a pair of shows at the House of Blues on Lansdowne Street (May 19 and 20) and an intimate gig at the Paradise Rock Club (May 21), part of the Commonwealth Avenue venue’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

Yes, May 21 is also the night of the Twin Peaks premiere, so you’ll have to do some decision-making there.

Pre-sale for the entire tour begins today at 10 a.m. local time (use the password: MASHER), and general on-sale starts Friday (January 27) at 10 a.m. Get all dates and specialized linkage here.
