Editor's Note: If the Paradise Rock Club is marking 2017 by celebrating its 40th anniversary, nearby sister venue Brighton Music Hall is providing a year-long stage for bands calling it a day. In April, Chairlift will perform their final Boston show at the Allston venue, and this past Friday (January 27), Wisconsin alt-folk and indie-pop sextet Phox brought their "Goodbye (For Now)" tour to town.There's always a chance Phox will resume musical operations sometime in the future, but the sold-out Allston crowd were taking no such chance. Phox enlisted New York crew Cuddle Magic to round out the party, and Matthew Shelter was on-hand for Vanyaland to capture some evidence of the evening. Check out his full gallery below.
