Studio 52 Spotlight: These Wild Plains
What Studio 52 Says: We fell in love with These Wild Plains the moment we first heard them. We booked them to perform one of their first local shows at our one-year anniversary party back in 2013, and we’ve been fans ever since. Their sound is the perfect blend of rock and roll, Americana, and a touch of country. Switching out vocalists between members from time to time gives their tunes a well-rounded and diverse palette. Catchy guitar hooks are scattered throughout their songs, as well as poetic and relatable lyrics. This band is on the road often, so if you see them passing through you should definitely check them out. Here in town, catch These Wild Plains this Wednesday (February 22) at State Park in Cambridge for their Water Is Life Benefit for Standing Rock Indian Reservation. Our good friends in Tigerman Woah!, Town Meeting, and Creaturos will also be performing to help raise funds for the cause.
