April is just nine days away, and for most parts of Massachusetts, there is still snow on the ground. Winter Storm Stella might have been uneven in its promise for blizzard-like conditions across our great land, but it was enough to force us back into parkas and peacoats and make those Patriots’ Day BBQs feel forever off in the eternal distance.
New York State’s LVL UP know this shit all too well, and this morning have shared a new video for their revved-up ’90s alt-rock track “Blur” (no relation to that Blur, woo). The clip, directed by Ryan Schnackenberg, is a stark reminder that winter plays by its own rules, and this motorcycle adventure found within is something we can all relate to as we scrap the last bits of ice off our windshields.
About to tour Europe for the next few months, LVL UP just wrapped up a North American tour, hitting Boston — in the dead of winter, no less — back in late January with Cloud Nothings. So this video will have to keep us warm until they roll back into town. Euro dates post-jump.
