The new album from Ride is called ‘Weather Diaries’ and will be out in June

Last month were were treated to a pair of new songs from Ride, the first bit of new music from the British shoegazers in more than 20 years. This morning, Ride have officially announced their new album, their first since 1996’s Tarantula — it’s called Weather Diaries and will be out June 16 via Wichita Recordings.

The album, produced by Erol Alkan and mixed by Alan Moulder, is available for pre-order through ridemusic.net, and includes the new recent singles “Charm Assault” and “Home Is A Feeling”. Pre-order options include double red vinyl, double black vinyl, CD or digital.

Ride will also be playing select dates in Europe and North America this summer, including Pitchfork Festival on July 16 and Royale in Boston on July 19. Listen to both new tracks after the promo and album artwork.
