Florida man in green pajamas decides to eat pancake breakfast in middle of busy street

Sometimes you just want to eat pancakes. In the middle of the street.

A Florida man is facing charges after he decided to plop down on a portable table in the middle of a busy Florida roadway last week and chowed down on some tasty-ass pancakes. He did this all while wearing green pajamas and some fuzzy slippers.

But Florida police are not laughing, and as the Orlando Sentinel reports, have charged 21-year-old Kiaron Thomas with placing an obstruction in the roadway and disrupting the free flow of traffic.

From the Sentinel (click here for the video):

“Lakeland police say they got a call Tuesday about 10:50 a.m. about a man sitting in a chair at a TV table in the crosswalk of Memorial Boulevard at Brunnell Parkway. He had a bottle of syrup and pancakes with what appeared to be bacon and scrambled eggs on a plate in front of him. He was chowing down. “There’s a gentlemen sitting in the middle of the road with a folding table eating. Eating. Just sitting in the middle of road eating with a chair and a folding table,” a man told a 911 dispatcher.

Video shows several vehicles stopping and trying to navigate around him. The person filming is heard laughing from the side of road. Police said the man left before officers arrived, but they later found a video of the breakfast break on Facebook, where several people had tagged the alleged eater. They went back to the intersection Thursday and found a suspect, Kiaron Thomas, 21, living about 100 yards away.”

Thomas now has a court date in April.
