Sexy Show: French electronic-pop duo Air playing Boston in June

Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.


Hey now, this is unexpected.

Acclaimed French electronic-pop duo Air are apparently touring this year, because there is word of a Boston show going down June 5 at Royale. Tickets go on sale Friday (April 7) at 10 a.m., and are priced as such: $45 for earlybird, $50 for general admission, and $55 for “day of show.”

We will just assume there won’t be any tickets left for that “day of show” sale, but hey, you never know.

Air’s last studio album was 2014’s Music for Museum, and last year Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel released a compilation album titled Twentyears.

We’ll pass along any news on additional Air dates — we doubt this is a Boston one-off — as they surface online. There are currently no tour dates on the duo’s official website just yet.
