We begin this trailer with a mild jump scare, this time involving Rey instead of Finn (who famously popped up into the frame in the first teaser for Force Awakens), presumably during her “Jedi” training with Luke on Ahch-To. It’s a fun call-back to the first footage we ever saw from the new trilogy, and hopefully will be in the final cut, unlike the Finn shot. The Verge notes that it looks like a starscape at the start, and that’s a pretty cool detail.
