Editor’s Note: Harvard Square used to be known for its infamous riff raff. But then the university tried to clean up the area, and all those stories about “The Pit” and punks and other undesirables floated off into long-gone Boston folklore. Last night (April 18) in Cambridge, Alynda Segarra brought her own bit to The Sinclair, as New Orleans-based Hurray For The Riff Raff packed the room with their distinct American folk-blues and Americana sound. The performance was the first of two shows at the Sinclair, which wrap up tonight, and Vanyaland’s Eddy Leiva was in the room on Night 1 to captures images of the Riff Raff as well as opener Ron Gallo.
