Here comes some more noisy fallout from this fall’s Cold Waves Festival in Chicago.
A few weeks ago we revealed that the Brighton Music Hall’s monthly Corrosion party is co-presenting Front 242 on October 7, and now two other industrial legends are swinging by the Allston venue after their own appearances at Cold Waves: KMFDM and ohGr of Skinny Puppy.
KMFDM’s “HELL YEAH 2017” Tour comes to Brighton Music Hall on October 8, as part of a 24-date North American tour that kicks off after Cold Waves with an October 2 show in St. Louis and wraps October 28 in Milwaukee. German dark-metal quintet Lord Of The Lost, who also play Cold Waves, appear to be on board for the entire run.
Front 242 on Saturday, October 7, and KMFDM and oGhr on Sunday, October 8? That’s some weekend in Boston.
Meanwhile, KMFDM are set to release a five-track EP titled “Yeah!” on June 23 via earMUSIC (the very-KMFDM-esque artwork is below), with a new full-length to follow in August.
