Ever wait days for something assumed to be delicious, only to eat it and realize it’s not very good. We experienced this shit when Burger King first rolled out its Mac N’ Cheetos option last year, and now Florida rapper Plies has gone off on Oreo after tasting the cookie’s alleged “Red Velvet” variety.
Plies tok to Instagram and Twitter this morning (June 7) to put Nabisco on blast, giving us a expletive-filled hangry tirade for the ages. The reason? Oreo’s “Red Velvet” cookies do not taste like red velvet cake.
“Y’all knew from the motherfuckin’ start Oreo that these cookies ain’t taste like no motherfuckin’ red velvet cake,” Plies says, holding up the package for all to see. “Y’all had to motherfuckin’ know that.”
Adding to Plies’ frustration was the fact that he waited two whole days to sink those gold teeth into them. It’s an age-old tale: You expect to taste cake, but end up with a cookie.
He even called out the alleged “cream cheese” advertised right on the package, saying: “The shit on the bottom say ‘cream cheese’ — ain’t no motherfuckin’ cream cheese in here! The same motherfuckin’ icing that’s in the black and white ones!”
Plies adds that he is considering legal action against Oreo.
