Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.

Ok, well, let’s not bury the lede here: Converge and Pile are playing the rather intimate confines of Brighton Music Hall in Allston on December 8.

Tickets are on sale now and you might want to get on this, and the capacity for the Brighton Avenue rock club is a tidy 476.

The Massachusetts metalcore legends and Exploding in Sound stalwarts, respectively, will be joined by DC guitar-rock band GIVE, and the Allston date serves as an East Coast tour kickoff that also hits Brooklyn’s St. Vitus for two nights (December 9 and 10) and wraps December 16 in Philly.

Fresh off their rousing set at Boston Calling back in May, Converge are set to release new album The Dusk In Us on November 3. Listen to recent single “Under Duress” below.

Pile, meanwhile, released their latest LP A Hairshirt of Purpose back in March, and you can read everything you need to know about it via Karen Muller’s deep dive.
