New Sounds: St. Vincent spins brilliant satire through pastel colors in ‘Los Ageless’ video

Continuing her ridiculous pastel color palette for the MASSEDUCTION era, St. Vincent has released the video for second single “Los Ageless,” a gratuitous satire of Los Angeles living.

The video, presented in “partnership with Red Bull Music,” dives into latex, plastic surgery, and pulsating, um… grubs? Somehow, the track manages to bang even harder with its pointed, gauzy criticism of California’s superficial culture.

Also very shamelessly tucked into the vid are variations of Clark’s signature Ernie Ball Music Man guitars, which stylistically meld into the singer’s newfound aesthetic wonderland.

Our only complaint is that the video cuts the track short, clipping off Clark’s emotional soliloquy that normally caps off the tune.

MASSEDUCTION drops October 13, and St. Vincent brings her “Fear the Future” tour to Boston’s House of Blues on November 30.
