Photo Gallery: LPX live at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston

Editor's Note: Lizzy Plapinger has remained one of the most important voices and visions in music. In the past decade the Neon Gold Records co-founder first introduced us to artists and bands like Ellie Goulding, Marina and the Diamonds, The Naked & Famous, and Charli XCX, and recently spent the past few years keeping us on the dance floor with her own project, MS MR. In her continuing quest to redefine alt-pop, her solo project, LPX, rolled into the Paradise Rock Club last night (October 4). "I'm here to assert myself -- harder, louder and stronger -- as a woman and an artist," Plapinger told Billboard earlier this year. "A force to be reckoned with, wrapped in amplified distortion, emotion and chaos. To create music that rips through your speakers and shakes you to your core, the kind of music that gets into your blood, takes hold and doesn't let go." That force filled the 'Dise last night, and Vanyaland's Eddy Leiva was in the room to capture a few quick snaps of the action. Scan through his gallery below.
