Well it used to be that January here in Boston was a ticketed concert wasteland, a chance to catch up on local shows and live music from those who need not travel into town under the risk of blizzards and storms and nor’easters.

But now that all bands and artists must spend their entire careers on the road, the concert calendar is filling up even in the unruliest of months. The latest to venture northeast in the dead of winter will be , who today announced a 21-date North American tour with Cashmere Cat.

The second date into the tour is a January 21 stop at The House of Blues in Boston, and tickets go on sale this Friday (November 3). The timing couldn’t be better, as it will be just more than a year since the Danish singer born Karen Marie Ørsted played The Paradise; read Victoria Wasylak’s review of the show for Vanyaland here.
