Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.

Now that the public voting for the 2017 Boston Music Awards has closed and concluded, it’s time to start zeroing in on the party itself. We’ve known the basic details for a while — December 7, House of Blues, us nominated again for Best Music Bl*g — but now we know perhaps the most important night-of detail other than the winners: Who be playing.

Today, we know, and it’s a solid representation of our diverse scene.

Hitting the House of Blues stage will be, in no particular order: Bad Rabbits, Weakened Friends, Tall Heights, STL GLD, Latrell James, Carissa Johnson, Avenue, no hope/no harm, Camino 84, and Sidney Gish.

There’s a lot of crossover appeal there, and it pretty much guarantees Camino 84 and Gish will team up to bust out one of the best songs of the year in their “Sounds Fake But OK” collaboration.

As you can figure, all of those bands and artists are nominated for a fuckton of awards, so click here to see who’s up for what and click here to get advance tickets to this joint.
