Photo Gallery: Barb Wire Dolls, Svetlanas, The Devil’s Twins, and 57 at Thunder Road

Editor’s Note: Sometimes you just need to hear rock and roll the way God intended it. And in this case, like most cases, the God we’re referring to is the Lemmy Kilmister. A few years ago the late, great Motorhead frontman signed Greek rock and roll live wires Barb Wire Dolls, and last night (November 2) at Thunder Road in Somerville we all got a chance to experience just what this racket is all about. The Dolls were in town as part of a 41-date North American gig with Russia’s Svetlanas and South Korea’s 57, making it one of the more diverse and multi-national rock bills we’ve seen in a hot minute. Boston’s own The Devil’s Twins enhanced the show with a bit of that homegrown swagger, and Matthew Shelter was in the room on behalf of Vanyaland to document the daze. Scan through his full gallery below, in reverse order of last night’s appearance.
