Justin Timberlake goes outside, announces new album ‘Man Of The Woods’

Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy back this winter, and he’s doing it by going outside.

The pop star unveiled his new album Man Of The Woods this morning, and the follow-up to 2013’s The 20/20 Experience is due out February 2. That’s two full days before Timberlake is set to perform live during Super Bowl LII’s Halftime Show in Minnesota, a state that knows a thing or two about the great outdoors.

Judging from the teaser trailer’s sound and visuals, this record appears to have a bit of a roosty, Americana vibe to it. We think we can hear someone say “earthy” in the clip.

“This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I’ve ever written, where I’m from,” Timberlake says in the promo video which, you can view below. “And it’s personal.”

In case you were not aware, Justin Timberlake is from Memphis, Tennessee. The first single off Man Of The Woods is set to drop this Friday, so get your parkas and scarves ready.
